　　As for how I knew it, there was a lot of discussion and even controversies over it when it was passed. /it was mentioned so many times either on news report or in my textbook. （两个版本，你可以说是修订了很多次，也可以说争议或者 议论很多）

　　Well, in terms of who it affects, I believe it affects the majority of public. People nowadays value the copyright, though we may not have works written or created by ourselves. We must have read books or compositions from other people. So this protects the right concering almost everyone.

　　As for why it good, the purpose of the law is to protect the originality（原创性）and creativity of any industry. Since the development of the whole society relies heavily on the creativity, innovation should be cherished(重视) and proteced by the legal system.
