　　08年全国I卷高考英语单项填空题题目灵活，重视应用，难度较去年有所提高。和今年的北京卷相比，也有较大难度。

　　全国卷的突出特点是重视动词及动词短语辨析的考查，这套题中有3道题(22、23、34)考查的都是这一内容。这些动词和短语都是高中的教学重点，也是日常中经常用到的，所以题目本身并不太难，着重考查了考生的基本功。应该指出，这些题目不属于语法范畴，主要靠同学们平日的积累。

　　这套题目考查动词的题目有6道，除了上面提到的3道动词辨析，还有2道动词时态语态(27、29)和1道非谓语动词(26)。相对来说，这3道题目的设置都比较理想，但非谓语动词的考查不够充分。

　　考查句法的题目只有1道，考的是状语从句(31)，考到了as long as, now that等很重要但考生平常不常用到的结构，有一定难度，对丰富考生的有效作文词汇有所帮助。

　　这套题目的突出问题是考点不够全面，主干语法知识考查权重不够。高中语法教学重点定语从句、名词性从句、情态动词都没有考到，常考的冠词没有出现，非谓语动词也只考了1题。这套题目的命题没有体现出高中语法主干知识的重要性，对指导高中语法教学十分不利。

　　这套题目的优点在于题目设置特别生活化，特别注重语法知识在生活中应用的考查。除却21、35一头一尾两道题直接考查交际用语，其他题目也都有很强的“交际”意味，比如22、27、28、30、31等题。这较好地体现了高考语法教学的*方向——即“注重应用，反对教条”，也对考生的语法水平和能力提出了更高的要求。
